A recent exposy with resident VJ Isak, revealed that many entertainment companies are now looking for not only Korean home grown stars but other ethnicities to enhance their group. Some of the more prominent ones are Hankyung from Super Junior, Nickhun from 2PM, all the members of U Kiss especially Alexander who speaks seven languages:Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and English, and Dara from 2NE1.
Major record labels are setting the Hallyu trend not only to neighboring Asia countries but international as well. So if you’re looking to hit it big time, learning another language won’t hurt.
